This week we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes.

Room 6 have written thank you letters to Mr Griffiths to show their appreciation of his time as they must have taken a long time to make.  They are all handmade.

Here is our last hatched butterfly.

Room 6 has enjoyed seeing the caterpillars grow, change into a chrysalis and then turn into a butterfly.

TERM 1 - WEEK 7 TO 9 - NEWS, LEGO AND BUDDY CLASS

Room 6 has had a busy couple of weeks.

In Week 7 we had a session on Mindfulness with a lady called Paula.  Paula taught us some breathing and relaxing techniques.

In Week 8 for Storytelling we have been listening, reading and retelling the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

Week 9 was a fairly normal week.  We seem to be having a few wet days though.      ☂

BUDDY CLASS

Room 17 are listening and helping Room 6 to finish their story-writing.

NEWS & LEGO

The following pictures are some News items that children have shared and of course our Lego making is very popular.  We have an awesome set of Lego that has been given to the Juniors and our day is Wednesday.  The children do not let Mrs Bancroft forget about this!!
